ROO the Cat needs a home
My name is ROO (DOB ~11/02/2007), a female Natural Mink Tonkinese, and I need your help! I came into a local animal control facility as a stray. I am front paw declawed AND I have a birth defect . . . I am missing the lower part of my left back leg. When I walk, I kind of hop like a kanga‘ROO.’ Because I can’t speak to tell you why it’s missing or why I was a stray, I can only hope that if you read my story and see my picture you will want to meet me! The birth defect doesn’t stop me – I get along just fine on my three legs. I put my front two paws on your shoulder, balance on my one leg, and nuzzle, nuzzle, nuzzle. I also am one of the best hugging cats you will ever meet. I really just need a second chance with a quiet, laid-back family that understands I may do things a bit differently than any cat you’ve had in the past. My foster mom says I am the most beautiful Tonkinese she has ever seen (well, actually, the only Tonkinese she's ever seen!). My ideal home would be a quiet one, preferably a one-story ranch with no small children, no big dogs. I would get along with a small dog or another laid back cat so please consider me as I really, really, really miss being in a family. I love watching Hallmark movies and the late night news!! I am spayed, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and will be microchipped and eligible to receive a 30-day free trial of pet health insurance. My adoption fee is $100.00.
